Where do you find your inspiration?
Is it in music, coming to you in a melody? Or maybe reading another's work sparks your imagination.
For me, inspiration comes in many forms. One thing that seems to give me a steady flow of muse is a certain collection of smells. Stay with me - imagine a crisp fall day. There's a crunch of leaves underfoot and a smell of pumpkin or peppermint or warm vanilla. Maybe toasted marshmallows or cider. The smell of pine trees shedding their needles.
I love fall. I feel especially inspired when I'm chilly and I'm wrapped in a blanket.
Going for a walk usually gets my creative wheels spinning in any season, however, as does listening to music that makes me feel nostalgic. I also enjoy reading something by an author that uses good descriptive words, and lately watching that silly show Anne with an E has been making me want to write! ^^
