What is The First Draft?

In a few words, it's a place to write. I started this forum to be a place of undefined, unrestricted (in a sense) creative outlet. I've done the roleplay thing, creating characters and joining in on a story in a world someone else made up. I've also made up my own worlds and invited others to join me. I love those kinds of forums, but I also wanted a place where the world was undefined, and I could pick up anywhere in the story and write whatever I am inspired to write at the time.

So, you'll find that in whichever format you enjoy writing, it has a place here. If poetry is your fort, write it. Share it. If short stories are your hobby, share that too. If you just have bits and pieces of ideas that flow from your thoughts, flow here. If you like roleplay but you want a new setting and new characters for every thread, you can do that here. Or, you may recycle old ones if you have a partner that wants to keep the story going.

The First Draft has many options. Find the one(s) that suit(s) you, and settle in. Join the family.
